Location
Hemingway House is located in beautiful Sun Peaks, British Columbia, a 45 minute drive north of Kamloops. We are the closest interior resort by road from Vancouver, BC, (4.25 hours,) and Seattle, WA, (5.5 hours.) There are two airport gateways Kamloops and Kelowna. Daily direct flights operate from Vancouver, Calgary, Seattle, Toronto, Edmonton and Victoria from one of these airports. Hemingway House is located on Fairways Drive, one of the streets in Sun Peaks that is directly on the mountain and features many glamorous homes. We are fortunate to be located on the uphill side - this allows us exceptional mountain views, and we even hike up the back hill to the run above and ski out of the house as well as in. It can be a challenge later in the season, but we do it regardless! We are a 7 minute walk to the village centre, or a 5 minute walk to the first golf tee. If you prefer to drive to the village (1 minute) in order to meet friends for apres ski, parking is free. In addition, Sun Peaks operates a shuttle service throughout the winter that will pick you up on Fairways Drive!

- Complimentary weekly welcome reception, an introduction to resort amenities and services. Each chairlift gives you access to blue, green and black diamond runs.

- Not only does Hemingway House accept pets (please note the $40 cleaning fee), but we offer children's games, X-Box and air hockey.
- Child Minding Centre in the village offers child minding services and ski school for children aged 18 months to 12 years old.
- Family casino night and Snowshoe Fondue evening once a week each.
- Kids Adventure Park, with mini snowmobiles and tobogganing hill.
- Sports Centre with outdoor swimming pool, ‘kiddie’ pool, hot tub and skating rink.
- Non-ski activities, including the Kids Adventure Pass for $39 +GST (Includes multiple use of the tubing park, mini snowmobiles, Sports Centre, bungie trampoline and orbitron).
- Each chairlift gives you access to blue, green and black diamond runs, so you can uplift with your friends and family, then split up and choose a trail to suit your ability level.
