Terms and Conditions and Policies
When booking with us you have agreed that you read and understand our Terms and Conditions and Policies.

Please read everything we send you. Emails have the Parking information you will need.

Truck owners: If the vehicle is too large and blocks anything, the driver will have to find other parking, or be towed away, at their expense. There is a public garage for valuable and over-sized vehicles.

Guest must be 21 years of age ~ No Children ~ Rooms are Double Occupancy only ~ No more than 2 people per room ~ No smoking/Vapor inside ~ No Candles ~ No Parties ~ No food can be brought into the inn (including pizza deliveries) ~ No Pets*. (*ADA Qualified service dogs allowed as required by law.) Note: Florida has a 'Fake service dog law' Those who are caught misrepresenting their animal may face a $500 fine and up to 60 days in jail.

Parking: Parking is limited and offered as complementary, at the owner's discretion, only offered if needed and can fit. You park at your own risk. Spaces are tight so we suggest bringing a small vehicle, and to take care while parking. Vehicles that are too large: If the vehicle is too large and blocks anything, the driver will have to find other parking, or be towed away at their expense.

Dear Ladies, Please use the makeup removers that are provided as an amenity for your stay. We are unable to remove makeup from our quality white bath linens. So there will be a $25 charge for each linen used to remove makeup. If you need additional makeup removers, please don't hesitate to ask. Also, a $25 site-fee is charged for each vendor (hair, makeup, etc) who comes to the inn for you.

Cancellation Policy & Fees:
If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us right away.
Prior to 7 days before arrival: Cancellation fee is $75 per room-night
Less than 7 days of arrival: No fee but, you must take responsibility for the cost of your entire reservation.
Cancellation Policy & Fees for Large Groups (4 or more rooms):
Prior to 21 days before arrival: Cancellation fee is $75 per room-night
Less than 21 days before arrival: No fee but, you must take responsibility for the cost of your entire reservation.
*If we can re-book the room(s) night(s) a partial refund less cancellation fees will be made.

Travel Insurance:
As much as we would love to control the weather, flight delays, health issues, and any other unexpected and unwanted travel mishaps, we cannot. Because cancellation fees do apply, we recommend you consider travel insurance. There are many companies that offer this insurance such as Travel Guard, Insure My Trip, and TravelInsurance.com, etc. Additionally, AAA, AARP and some credit cards may provide coverage. If you are unable to keep your travel plans and your cancelation falls within the cut-off dates, we will of course attempt to rebook for room, but if we are not successful, travel insurance may reimburse you for the cancelation fees.

Payment: A valid Visa or MasterCard is required to hold a reservation. Unless you arrange otherwise directly with the B&B, your credit card will be charged 7 days prior to your arrival when you take responsibility for the cost of your entire reservation. We only accept Gift Certificates that are purchased from Hemingway House B&B. We do not participate in any gift card program, including bedandbreakfast.com's.

Check-in: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Arriving early? Your room will be ready after 3:00 (we call if it's ready early) but, your parking may be ready around 12 noon. So get parked in your assigned spot (Read parking information section) and go have some fun. There is no reason to notify the inn keeper. We will see you after 3:00 to check-in.

Arriving later? You must call to arrange a late check-in with the Innkeeper, and know that off-site parking may not be assured late into the evening.

Front desk is open: 10:00AM to 5:00PM
Quiet-time: We reserve 8:00 PM– 7:00 AM as quiet time at the inn. Please be considerate and keep noise to a minimum during this time. Violators will be expelled by the police, from the property, WITHOUT warning and without a refund.

Large groups (4 or more rooms) Policy & Fees:
-No food can be brought into the inn, including pizza deliveries
-No parties and no non-registered guests allowed
-We reserve 8:00 pm – 7:00 am as quiet time at the inn
-Also, a $25 site-fee is charged for each vendor (hair, makeup, etc) who comes to the inn for you.

Additional Cleaning: Any additional cleaning beyond normal housekeeping (such as but not limited to: wine, smoke, make-up, blood, personal stains, food & beverage clean-up) will be billed a minimum charge of $75.00 plus any additional costs as necessary.

COVID-19 Requirements: Since we don't know what will be the situation when you visit, we have included these links that will answer your questions now, and in the future. No cancellations are accepted within 7 days of arrival.

CHECK-IN/OUT
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Check-in begins at 3:00 pm. If arriving later, please call us to arrange a late check-in with the Innkeeper. (Know that we can not assure parking late into the evening) Check-out is at 11:00 AM. (Sorry, no exceptions. We need time to clean your room for the next guest. Thank you.)
