WRITE THE STORY OF YOU, HERE
While Ernest never stayed here, (actually he prefered 'Marine Land' just south of here) we named the Inn after our favorite author. And who knows, the nation's oldest city just might bring-out the writer within you. Oh sure, it’s not Paris but, the city has its charms and many people have told their story here, or wrote their very own story and brought it to us. For instance, while you read more about Hemingway House B&B you will learn that each of our six guest rooms
- Double occupancy (2 people per room only)
- on the second-floor ~ thus feature a shared covered balcony
- each room has modern private bath room
- has assigned parking space (all rooms (but one) park on-site)
- a comfortable Queen or King bed
...But did you know a friend of the owners wrote the room descriptions on a dare? That's a fun story, and they are well written! And sure, while we begin each evening with a casual wine social-hour
that give guests time to meet the owners and their fellow guests. Do you know how many stories of Hemingway, or topics about him, are told each night? Let me tell you the one about Rodger Shadow
and the Hemingway House B&B. We recently published his book that Roger wrote back in 1958, about the time, when in Havana Cuba, that he spent his WEEKEND AT HEMINGWAY'S
. (Purchase the book by using the link) This book holds great insight to the famous author, the legend, the man, and the people he knew.
Come on! Others have written the story of their life at the Hemingway House, so why can't you?
