WRITE THE STORY OF YOU, HERE
If there ever were a city to bring out the writer in you, expect in the nation’s oldest (and smallest) city to do so. So it’s not Paris, but so many people have either brought us a story, or wrote their own right here. For instance, you will learn that each of our six guest rooms
are on the second-floor, and feature a shared covered balcony (perfect for writing a few lines and catching the bay breezes wafting down Charlotte Street
), and each room has modern private
baths, and a comfortable Queen or King bed. But did you know a friend of the owners wrote the room descriptions on a dare? There is a story. And sure, we begin each evening with a casual wine social-hour giving guest’s time to meet the owners and their fellow guests. But do you know how many stories of Hemingway, or a derivative there of, is told each night? Let me tell you the one about Rodger Shadow. Come on! Others have written the story of their life at the Hemingway House, so why can’t you?
